A few additional points to note:

Company commanders: If you have not done so already please download and fill out this unit registration and send it to the park. This is not the same as the individual registration, but is instead a registration for entire units that the park will use to measure attendance. If you have any questions you can reach out to info@battleofprairiegrove.com.

Early Registration Extended: If you go to the online registration page you can register at the $15 price point until November 30th. This has been extended, and any registrations after that date will have the additional $5 late fee.

Volunteers Needed: As it says in the update we are looking for a handful of volunteers to help the park with event registration on Friday as they will have a much smaller staff than there has been in the past. Lets help them out!

Where did the form go?

     Hey Everyone, While registrations were being collected here, and payments for registration fees were being collected on a different page, the State of Arkansas as sponsors of the event have decided that they want to to have registrations and payments more centralized and on a single page. While I understand that this does create some confusion about the change in process, this is actually going to come with some great benefits:

• This will create a faster and smoother online registration process
• Registration as done and out of the way and no need to pay when you arrive
• BIG CHANGE: If you register and pay early, you do not need to check in when you arrive, simply go strait to your camps and start setting up

     I also understand that some of you may be hesitant to register and pay through an online system, so there is a button on the registration page that will allow you to download a registration form to fill out the traditional way and send it through postal mail or you can email the completed form to the address provided on the form as well. In terms of paying your fees with the paper form you have a few options as well:

1. You can include a cheque and mail your registration to the park at the address provided on the form
2. If you do not include a check, someone from the park will call you at the number provided and you will be able to pay over the phone
3. If you want to pay in person you can go to the park and pay at the museum before the event
4. You will be able to pay your registration fees on site, however, the park will have much less staff for this compared to previous years to you may end up waiting a bit and it is possible that you will have to pay a higher registration fee.

Artillery Commanders - Kindly register your cannons promptly. The department intends to place a powder order by the end of September. They plan to allocate 5 pounds per gun for the weekend, which is an increase of one pound from last year. If your guns are not registered by September 30, we cannot ensure you will receive a powder bounty.
